Chris Haug, Founder | CEO

 Chris is an unabashed entrepreneurship evangelist. As a successful serial entrepreneur, accomplished C-level management specialist, and valued advisor to pre-revenue startups through emerging mid-market companies,  he's highly sought after for his ability to see what others don’t, go where others won’t, and find what others can’t.  

His passion is to help educate, inspire, and connect clients with the tools, skills, and resources they need to grow phenomenally profitable businesses. Chris believes in “giving first, not taking, helping others before helping one-self, and making friends, not just contacts”.  

He brings a full career of real world knowledge and expertise to help clients gain new time, attract money, and get the management services and intellectual capital they need when they need it.

During his career, Chris has executed strategic leadership roles creating more than $170+MM in corporate value including revenue growth of $80MM, $20+MM in reduced costs, and improving working capital by $68MM including raising more than $40MM in equity, debt, hybrid, and alternative financing for himself and his clients.   

He's a veteran of three start-ups of his own including the first sporting goods e-commerce retailer specializing in the games of Lacrosse and Field Hockey. He has played key strategy, execution, and management roles in the creation and growth of 12 additional ventures which have gone on to generate more than $18MM in revenue.

Chris is very active in the Mid-Atlantic entrepreneurial community serving as the Director of the Columbia, mid-Maryland Chapter of the global Startup Grind organization, an active member of the Howard Tech Council and the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship, and teaches strategic planning and marketing at the Entrepreneurial Studies Institute.  

He is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and serves as the Membership Chair of the National Capitol Region Chapter. In addition, he serves as a mentor in the Loyola University MBA Scholars program.

Chris holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Loyola University-Maryland.
